Die Grünen - Widersprüche einer Partei

Nowadays, more and more construction projects are stopped. Personal opinions of various residents and city dwellers often lead to civil protests and civil initiatives in which various arguments against the new construction projects are introduced. Many of these arguments are consistent with those of the environmental movement. That these arguments and opinions are often abused by the protesters, contradicts the principles of green ideology and the „Green Party“.
The history of the environmental movement began in the 60s with protests against nuclear power plants and resulted in the founding of the Party „The Greens“. The following report gives examples of possible projects in „Berlin Tempelhof“ and „Bremen Garden City Werdersee“. The protestlers used the environmental arguments to stop this projects. German cities desperately need new housing to alleviate the housing shortage. But how can you enforce a construction project, when each citizen initiative leading to the end of the project?
