Diese Präsentation beschäftigt sich mit dem Thema „die Platte“. Angefangen mit den geschichtlichen Hintergründen in Europa über die plattenbaugeprägte DDR bis Heute. Im Laufe des Vortrags werden verschiedene Plattenbautypen vorgestellt, wobei drei davon anhand von Beispielen näher erläutert werden.
Abschließend wird die Bedeutung und die Kultur (in) der Platte von damals und heute verglichen.

This presentation deals with the subject „the prefab“. Started with the historical backgrounds in Europe over the prefabricated building-stamped GDR to today. In the course of the talk different prefabricated building types are introduced and three of it are explained on the basis of examples closer.

Finally the meaning and the culture is compared the prefab of that time and today.
