New Hulsberg-Viertel
The new Hulsberg-Viertel extends over a 14 hectare large area which is located on the property of the Hospital Bremen-Mitte in the "Östliche Vorstadt" of Bremen.The property which belongs to Gesundheit Nord is about 19 hectare in size and consists of around 50 buildings, all belonging to the hospital.
The change to a much more compact hospital structure led to a reduction in size of the entire hospital building to 5 hectare. Thereby creating an opportunity for a new area that covers urban planning aspects and is home to a diverse range of social classes.
