This experiment deals with the likes and dislikes of the people for skyscrapers. We asked people from all ages and professions to draw their favourite skyscrapers in a quick sketch and describe their reasons why. On top of that we tried to figure out, if it was an option to live in a skyscraper and to find similarities in the different professions, ages or even in their background. Did the ones, who dont want to live high, come from the countryside? Do architects really want to live on top of the highest building in the city?
Here you may find some of our outcomes.

We got 77 relevant questionnaires from 40 men & 37 women.

Who wants to live in a skyscraper? Our hypothesis: Younger people want to live in skyscrapers.

More eldery people decided to live in a skyscraper.Who wants to live in a skyscraper? Our hypothesis: More often men want to live in a skyscraper.

Almost the same count, but a few more men want to live in a skyscraper.Who wants to live in a skyscraper? Our hypothesis: People with background from the countryside do not want to live in a skyscraper.

The living backgrounds and their results: city 45% , suburb 17% , countryside 47%Who wants to live in a skyscraper? People who have to deal with architecture in theit profession do want to live in a skyscraper.

It was more common that people with architectural professions do want to live in a skyscraper. Here you may find some reasons why the different people do or don't want to live in a skyscraper. In the next picture you find the most named and sketched skyscrapers.

In the end we got an album with all the different sketches and scripts.
We figured out that some of our hyothesis were more or less prejudices. With a few more quesstionnaries we could have got more obvious results and differences in the numbers, but still it was an interesting experiment with unusual restults.
